University during November feels like a death sentence. I don't think I have taken any breaks with academics for the last few weeks and I am slowly crashing out because of it. But hey, at least we got some good new music that came out recently.
Do ya'll just ever put on your liked playlist and shuffle it randomly? I do. My mind is all over the place recently that I don't really have a mood for a specific genre of music to listen to at the moment. So when one of my co-workers asked me what type of music I listen to; I drew a blank. What is my type of music? If you look at my collections of vinyl, playlists, and saved songs you would just assume that I have no specific taste. But I don't think that's true. In each genre of music I often get attracted to certain niches of style and approach. So how do I explain this to someone interested to what I have to say about my music taste? Honestly, I have no idea and it might seem like I'm an elitist. A person who cannot explain what his music taste is because of the fear of people not knowing how to comprehend it. How pretentious!!! I think I'm just too stupid to articulate the music I try to share. I am incapable of putting my feelings into words when it comes to music, therefore it is not the person's fault for not understanding what my type of music I enjoy. Hopefully one day I can master music analysis and the English language to perfectly explain my thoughts on the beautiful artforms we listen to.
In this month's playlist, I have added new music that I have discovered this year, followed with timeless songs that I like to listen to during the grey days of fall.
